Responsibilities

Summary : The successful candidate will contribute to maintenance and new development of a major tactical system. The position involves close daily interaction with developers and subject-matter experts. Some travel required. The ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment is required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Documenting requirements
  • Full understanding of Agile Software Development and Scrum practices
  • Devising use cases and Agile epics and user stories that are testable
  • Ensuring correct implementation using

  • Manual tests

  • Automated unit, functional, integration, performance, and acceptance tests
  • Design and review of test scenarios
  • Usability analysis
  • Execution of manual and automated tests
  • Systematic specification of software behavior
  • Tracking of defects and improvements through automated tool
  • Preparation of Software Test Reports and related documents
Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • BS Computer Science, or related major
  • 10 years of applicable experienceSystems/Computing Skills

Qualifications:

  • Experience with engineering of web applications
  • Recent development or VV&A experience for a DoD program
  • Experience developing requirements and requirements traceability
  • Experience with automated, scripted testing
  • Experience working on a Scrum team using Test Driven Development (TDD) or Behavior Driven Development (BDD)

Eligibility:

  • U.S. Citizenship required for position
  • Active Security Clearance or ability to obtain one
