Conducts in-depth analysis and assessments of intelligence missions and capabilities, develops and formulates mission needs and performance requirements recommendations for customers. Leads, conducts and facilitates analysis of alternatives and provides recommended solutions to meet customer’s mission needs. Fosters mission and capability linkages to customer’s acquisition and budgets processes. Supports, advises and recommends positions and inputs into customers planning and programming processes. Provides solutions and recommendations to customer issues integrating several related areas that contain constants and variables, restrictions, alternatives and related conflicting customer objectives. Manage and track on going analytic issues to meet leadership needs on issues and drive them to closure. Gather, relate, and identify data with variables by applying subject matter judgment and expertise. Understands modeling and simulation methods, process and tools. Applies mission knowledge and customer needs to develop and define mission utility assessments. Conduct mission analysis and assess alternatives; and, provide alternative recommendations through mission driven cost-based performance models. Review operations and testing of models to insure adequacy, or determine needs for refinement. Analyze operational methods, which require substantial subject matter expertise for assessment and refinement. Identify and provide customer recommendations on best practices in approaches, techniques, and processes for cost effective performance analysis, and for other studies that enable effective decision making. Prepare written, non-technical reports to management, indicating solutions or range of possible alternatives in rank of desirability and probability of success when there is no single solution. Conduct major issues studies through objectives and data-driven analyses to inform major decisions regarding future investment or allocation, priorities or policy guidance.
- BS degree or higher
- 5 years of experience with technical requirements
- 1 year experience in intelligence community mission
- Good oral and written communication skills, with both technical and non-technical.
- Ability to work on several projects or issues simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment, as needed.
- Top Secret security clearance with SCI and CI Poly
- Knowledge of GEOINT, SIGINT or MASINT operations and processes.
- Familiarity with JCIDS, ICCR process and procedures and methodology
- Familiarity with DoD acquisition process and procedures
- Familiarity with National Intelligence Programs (NIP); IC and DoD programs.
- Ability to develop and maintain professional networks.
