Provide Systems Engineering and Integration support in a fast-paced and dynamic customer environment. Responsibilities include full project lifecycle support; creation of project documentation; ensuring readiness of material for reviews; advising and participating in applicable technical exchange meetings and control gates; tracking individual project schedules and project financial status; creating contractual documentation and funding related material; providing project assessments; providing input for requirement development ensuring requirements are clear, specific, verifiable and are assigned achievable due dates; ensuring stability of technical baseline for all projects and report issues and concerns to appropriate project lead, COTR, and Branch management in a timely manner. The candidate will be required to create SOWs, Acquisition Plans, requirements documents, test plan/procedure documents, proactively contribute to historical/system insights to improve mission performance by applying technical insight and end-to-end SE for mission success and identify process improvements, in a process-lite environment, tailored to the Group and where applicable. Accurate articulation of project information expected. The candidate will also be required to review projects and provide timely input to the customer on issues that arise. The candidate will be expected to respond to spontaneous customer management requests for project status updates in absence of COTR/PM. Provide technical oversight for projects
• Excellent written and oral communication skills • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment co-located with multiple contractor and customer teammates • Demonstrated ability to quickly ramp up to support the customer’s needs, multi-task, work autonomously, take the initiative to provide creative alternatives to intractable challenges or systemic problems. • Strong understanding of project lifecycle, awareness of and ensuring compliance to customer processes • Systems engineering awareness; ability to create, sustain, and enhance fostering of team dynamics and collaboration • Degree in a one of the following disciplines: Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field. • TS/SCI with Poly Desired Skills: • Customer domain experience • Experience in creating financial and contractual documentation • Experience with customer financial systems • Proficiency in Excel
Requires 10 to 12 years with BS/BA or 8 to 10 years with MS/MA or 5 to 7 years with PhD.
