Principal analyst provides analysis of all-source data in a multi-intelligence area to produce executive-level defense reports relevant on a national or global level. Serve as subject matter expert in the counterintelligence (CI) and intelligence analysis field supporting a DoD customer. Responsible for final review of counterintelligence reports and prompt delivery to the customer at all levels. Often leads in the research of CI all-source data and assists other CI analysts in the operation and use of CI tools. Experience and training in one or more areas of; threat analysis, foreign intelligence, counterintelligence, risk and vulnerability assessments, military operations, investigations, technology protection, security, and anti-terrorism/force protection are highly desirable.
BA or BS with 7 to 10 years of experience. Equivalent years: BA/BA = HS + 7 years' experience; MA/MS = BA/BS + 7 years' experience.
Experience with intelligence analysis, including counterintelligence, counter-terrorism, all-source, and law enforcement missions
Experience with offensive CI operations or CI investigations
A working knowledge and understanding of the Intelligence Community (IC), DoD, and NGA.
Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills (including but not limited to: correct English usage, grammar, spelling, punctuation, vocabulary, etc.).
Be able to execute work independently and as a team member.
Demonstrate good interpersonal skills – using tact, patience and courtesy.
Be skilled in using the Microsoft ®Office suite (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
