Responsibilities

C2I engineer as part of the Fleet Systems Engineering Team.

This position is required for supporting the various systems located at Navy fleet concentration areas world wide. Provides support as Senior Technical Advisor to government and other contract personnel in suppor of networking operations. Support also includes administration and maintenance of systems, use and development of standard operating procedures, lead and coordination of troubleshooting efforts to resolve issues on supported units across multiple circuits and systems and facilities. Experience with the operation and maintenance of Common Operational Picture (COP) network interfaces and associated Navy-specific tactical Candidate will provide leadership and training to on-site personnel and lead/assist personnel aboard fleet units in resolving ship-to-shore networking issues.

Qualifications

Associates degree in Information Technology or an equivalent of (4) years of direct experience with operation and maintenance of Navy C4ISR systems afloat and ashore.

Two (2) years of direct experience with operation and sustainment of Common Operational Picture (COP) network interfaces and associated Navy-specific tactical data links.

Two (2) years of experience with the execution of communication plans to include frequency administration/allocation and troubleshooting RF mediums between Navy platforms and terrestrial communication stations. Working knowledge of Navy shipboard Combat Systems networking and the Global Command and Control System - Maritime (GCCS-M)

CLEARANCE

• Adjudicated SECRET (Tier 3) clearance within the past six (6) years.

• Possible requirement to upgrade clearance level to TOP SECRET.
