Vencore Landmark Acquisition Office Support (AOS) team is seeking a talented System Engineer to become part of our team supporting the organization. Outgoing personality who is business, customer, and team focused with the ability to coordinate across multiple programs to ensure tasks completion. The position will be located in Chantilly, VA and may require some travel. Provides management support for Verification and Validation (V&V) or requirements using Dynamic Object Oriented Requirements System (DOORS) or other relational database enabling query generation for traceability. Outstanding attention to detail to ensure schedule milestones are accomplished. Have a working knowledge of the Agile development methodology and be able to manage system and project requirements. Interfaces with government and other contractors to translate high-level product development strategies into system requirement specifications and develop lower-level implementation requirements. Ensures requirements comply with customer requirements and government standards through formal verification methods. Designs interfaces and brings system elements together so they work as a whole. Follow established of standards, practices, and procedures as related to the overall product development. Assesses system/project performance using evaluation criteria and technical performance measures. Participates in system conceptual design and documentation of the design concepts. Participates in design reviews of components (hardware and software) to ensure applicability to the current system and traceability of requirements through compliance verification and validation. Generates system level requirements verification procedures and customer acceptance test procedures. Reviews test plans/procedures and ensures they meet the objectives of the contractual requirements and participates in the testing process to trace and validate requirements. Must be able to obtain a Top Secret/SCI with poly.
Requires 0 to 2 years with BS/BA or 6 to 8 years no degree.
- Bachelor or Master degrees in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering or other Information Technology disciplines
- Working knowledge of Dynamic Object Oriented Requirements System (DOORS)
