Responsibilities

This program will provide Product Director (PD) Army TENCAP with Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA). The PD Army TENCAP is chartered with the responsibility of executing the Army's Tactical Exploitation of National Capabilities (TENCAP) program. The primary objectives of this SETA effort are to assist PD Army TENCAP staff in the areas of facilitating exploitation of intelligence information and capabilities from national and theater systems to support Army tactical commanders. This includes support to Headquarters Department of the Army (HQDA) to maintain connections to national and theater systems; prototype development and transition of technology into Army systems; and acquisition of equipment as directed by the TENCAP General Officer Steering Group (TGOSG) and Assistant Secretary of the Army (Acquisition, Logistics & Technology) [ASA(ALT]. PD Army TENCAP also provides systems engineering and logistics support to projects assigned to the Program Manager for Distributed Common Ground System - Army (PM DCGS-A).

The Operation Specialist duties include:

  • Provide administrative support through the form of distributing incoming/outgoing correspondence; answering telephones/electronic mail and maintaining messages, reviewing, producing, and finalizing correspondence and briefing materials to include copying and binding of large briefings and/or reports within the time frame provided. An understanding and demonstrated use of software applications to include but not limited to various Microsoft Office applications and use of SharePoint is required.
  • Coordinate responses to Congressional inquiries; support and track the development of Memorandum Of Agreements (MOAs)/Memorandum Of Understandings (MOU).
  • Maintain a consolidated Task Tracker to track incoming, existing and completed taskers to PD Army TENCAP from external agencies, to include PEO IEW&S and other stakeholders.
  • Communicate assignment of the task to the POC; and will review, compile and make administrative corrections to the POC submissions.
  • Coordinate conference rooms to support meetings.
  • Coordinate NIPR, SIPR and JWICS VTCs, Defense Collaborative Services, or other collaborative online meeting systems designated by the government.
  • Coordinate with external VTC participants and local PD TENCAP network administrators to ensure that all needed participants have appropriate information to view and attend the meetings.
  • Generate and maintain a list distribution and conference phone lists.
  • Support distribution, assignment and tracking of telephones, computers, monitors, printers, and other collaborative online meeting systems designated by the government.
  • Coordinate with external VTC participants and local PD TENCAP network administrators to ensure that all needed participants have appropriate information to view and attend the meetings.
Qualifications

Required:

  • TS/SCI Clearance
  • BA/BS
  • Minimum of seven years experience in providing operations support for an executive office. Experience shall include a minimum of two years experience utilizing Microsoft Office applications.
