Responsibilities

Description:

Content Services Integrator (CSI) delivers full life-cycle systems integration and engineering services to the missions of customers. CSI is chartered to provide technical leadership for many high priority activities, including the GEOINT Visualization System (GVS) project which modernizes IT systems, applications, and services to provide improved GIS-based visualization capabilities and situational awareness to users.

The GVS Systems Integrator provides the engineering and project management required to successfully field new GIS visualization capabilities and is accountable for systems engineering, technical integration and baseline management for their critical initiatives. The selected candidate will provide systems engineering and integration support to GEOINT Visualization Services (GVS) PMO and development contractor. GVS provides visualization services to facilitate access to GEOINT data, products, maps, and tools across the IC and DoD.

Responsibilities include:

  • Translate customer needs into project and service requirements and features
  • Serve as a liaison between the government program office and service developers for implementing new capabilities
  • Coordinate interfaces between programs of record and dependent systems and services
  • Capture and maintain requirements, capabilities, and services baseline baselines and backlogs
  • Lead the development of engineering products, such as CONOPS, test plans, and transition plans
  • Generate Requests for Change (RFCs) as required and leads configuration control board process coordination
  • Lead or participate in technical exchange meetings (TEMs) for managing project execution and resolving enterprise issues
  • Produce activity reports as needed to support the project lead
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in CS / Math / Science / Engineering or related technical experience
  • 11+ years of systems engineering, systems integration, or software development experience
  • 1+ years of experience with GIS tools, technologies, and standards, including OGC web standards, Google Earth, and ESRI tool suite
  • Working knowledge of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) or similar Agile engineering or development methodologies
  • Demonstrated ability to establish effective customer relationships with senior level government personnel; ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Detail oriented, with proven time management and organization skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Self-starter and able to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities
  • Strong interpersonal, problem solving, organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent written/verbal communications, technical/non-technical presentation skills

Desired Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of related experience with NGA or its IC partners
  • 4+ years technical experience supporting NSG systems, segments and architectures
  • 1+ years of experience in cloud technology engineering and Amazon Web Services
  • Working knowledge of software engineering patterns and approaches including: Web Services and API management; Benefits and costs of COTS, GOTS, and Open Source; User interface/visualization technologies; GIS applications; Cloud architectures;
  • Comfortable with conducting customer and stakeholder outreach, including giving briefings and conducting demos
